Genre to read
Memoir. I’ve got a kink for high-stakes, political stories about Russia like “Patriot” by Alexei Navalny and “Red Notice” by Bill Browder.
Mexican Spanish word
“Socios,” meaning “associates,” but it has that juicy, cultural undertone in Latin America, where relationships are king. You trust your socios with your money, business affairs, and maybe even your life.
Holiday Destination
Mountains, lakes and forests, ideally with no internet access. I hate the beach and humidity!
Poem in The Intimacy Journal
You can find it in the "Complexity" chapter. I won't tell you which one that is!
These days, you can find me wandering around Condesa in Mexico City. I'm often looking up, trying to spot a hummingbird (my favorite animal) in the treetops!
