The Intimacy  Writing Workshop
A guided expressive writing experience that helps women reconnect with their bodies, their desires, and their authentic voice.

We've been taught to silence our most honest selves.
As women, we often grow up learning to edit ourselves in order to be palatable to others. We forget what we actually want, or perhaps we never explored it at all. We can't put our experiences into words because no one ever told us our voices were important.

So we stay disconnected from our bodies, our pleasure, and out of touch with the raw, vivid details of being alive.

The Intimacy Writing Workshop is a space to come home to yourself through the act of putting pen to paper. It's about embracing everything beautiful and messy, and defining your desires on your own terms, to set yourself free.

What to expect
This is a 60–90 minute guided experience. Here's how it works:

Guided Meditation
We begin by dropping into the body for a short meditation, becoming receptive to what wants to come through.

Poetry Reading as a Gateway
Each session is anchored by a poem from a historical woman poet, like Alfonsina Storni or Lola Ridge. Workshops are offered in Spanish or English.

Structured Writing Prompts
We write in response to prompts drawn from the poem. Stream-of-consciousness is encouraged. There is no wrong way to do this.

Sharing Circle with Safety Guidelines
Participants are invited (never required) to share their writing aloud, followed by positive-only feedback. We use a clear set of guidelines to create psychological safety.

Closing Reflection
We end by asking: What is one thing you identified in this workshop that you're taking with you?
For communities that celebrate women

The Intimacy Writing Workshop is for spaces that honor women's honest self-expression and are excited to go deeper in discussions about sexuality. This includes:

  • Members clubs and cultural venues
  • Women's health and wellness brands not afraid to be bold
  • Women's communities and collectives
  • Podcasts and media brands looking to engage their audience
  • Festivals, bookshops, and creative event series

Each workshop's theme, poems, and prompts are customized to your audience, your event, and your goals.
